If you are going to be in our school, especially if it's for the first time in a while, you'll notice that there have been some major physical improvements here at EHS, creating more updated, accessible and safe spaces! The construction for these improvements happened in late spring and during the summer months and, by early fall, we were all settled into our new spaces!
- The new Student Services area for college preparatory, career and personal counseling services, as well as a student and faculty lounge, and casual meeting spaces are on the main floor; the student services lobby and lounge are in the space where the Main Office was previously located. Here you'll also find the offices of our Associate Principal and our School Nurse.
- The Commons area has also undergone some renovation for a new commercial-grade kitchen (now located at the back of the Commons) as well as a serving area for dining and catering needs.
- All administration offices have been consolidated and relocated to the ground floor behind the new Main Office lobby, which is just off the Commons in the old kitchen space. This space is where you'll find offices for President, Principal, business staff, advancement staff (admissions, alumni, marketing and development), technology director and records staff. The new Main Entrance for the building into the Main Office lobby is located to the left of the Commons doors.
- In addition, the suite previously occupied by the president and executive assistant was able to be converted to a new classroom.
- The elevator lobby on the ground floor temporarily housed on Main Office over the summer and now serves as a student study space.
